Wazzup man. I haven't been on work/travel program. As for the relative: personally, I wouldn't do that. If the person is illegal in the coutry, and has no status, and is not waiting for his case processed by INS, if the consult at the embassy gonna ask you questions about the relative, you are screwed. You tell him the truth, you are not getting a visa, cuz the "immigration intend" is obvious. If you lie, you MIGHT get a visa, but if he catches you, you are screwed again. I was at the embassy in Toronto a month ago, opened a new visa to US. I have a godson in US, he is US citizen and his parents, my buddies (both with GCs) invited over for holidays. It took me 5 painful minutes only to answer consul's questions about my friends, pretty nasty questions. As for the SIN#: Yes, its still valid and your for life. You can use it, however, ideally you should have INS work authorization. Even if you get a GC or smth this # will be yours for life. Good luck. |
