As for me, I don't care. None will be good for UA. If we don't do anything ourselves, we'll get decayed. That's fact. Maybe, the US and Europe might do smth properly right now, not Russia though. This reply is straight for Roxy.
I agree with you, Roxy, about Communism. It is not very bad at all. The thing that is bad is how the governors introduce it to the nation and how they are going to realize it in reality. Actually, pure Communism is utopiya. It has never been achieved in any country, at least on this planet. Communism was condsidered to be the next, following stage of Socialism. Do you remember all those USSR Communism party's meeting where they provided reports on how the country was going towards Communism? They never got the time where they were leading USSR. So, it is no use discussing Communism as it can (or could) be only because nobody has never seen it. But what is happening in Moldova now is TERRIBLE!!! What that f. Moldovain new "presidend" (note - lower case letter at the beggining) is going to do sounds not even like Communism, but new comand-administrative ecomony with all "well-known-by-everybody" results of such actions. Konechno, oni uje nikogda ne vernut togo, chto bulo pri CCCP, no vse-taki - ustanovlenie ruskogo yazuka kak gosudarstennuy - eto uje peregibanie palki. Kakoy je on gosudarstvennui? Naskolko mne izvestno, bolshaya polovina naseleniya Moldovu govoril na Rumunskom, a nekotorue daje ne znayut ruskogo! Moldovane! Ne rasstraivaytes silno: comunistu pobedili tolko potomu, chto bolshya chast elektorata - stariki, kotorue nastolgiyut po staromu vremeni, i dumayut, chto vubiraya communistov, oni vernut to, chto bulo ranshe. Cherez kakoe-to vremya mnogie iz nih otoydut v mir inoy (sorry, but htis is true), i togda novoe, molodoe pokolenie sdelaet svoy, dostoynuy vubor. A poka - mnogoe v vashuh rukah (hotya moldovan po FSA seychas sdes', v USA ne mnogo, no oni zato LUCHSHUE iz luchshuh): uchites u americancev, america hot' i gniyut uje iznutri, no u nih cho vsyat i v plane oputa, i v plane money (ha-ha-ha )))

Well, seems like we are discussing which ideology is better. To my mind, there's no difference. It's all about the attitude towards it. Whether communists in Poland or conservatives in the US, those countries tend to prosper. On the contrary, countries like UA and Macedonia really suck under "democratic" power.
I'd rather see socialist Moroz as a president of UA than social-democrate Medvedchuk or "dedicated" Rukh-leader ( to those who are not aware, Rukh is the rightist party in UA). Btw, Bulgaria didn't get better since communist times ( I just talked to the one from Sofia). Oligarchs, like Michael Chernyi, own soccer-clubs in Sofia and exercise wild-monopoly regime, being closely connected to the ongoing government (doesn't it seem so much similar to UA, Neo? :-) ).I didn't mean to offend you, Neo, by saying that, simply the example is a bit lame. At the same time, Slovakia and Poland turned back to former communists eventually. My point is that its about personalities and their attitudes we elect, not the ideological color they have. Maybe, it would work out that way. Xm.. I wouldn't believe Ukr. democrates...communists are not trustworthy as well... That is what we face.. or? [Brat 3: University of Pennsylvania I] |
