Hey,as for my university,it's named as the best public college of the year 2000 by the Times Magazine.It really is such a cool place to study and find something new from both your professors and people from all over the world who are here.So,don't blame that we are in bad schools,maybe you are not lucky,Ratmir,with your MSU...SOrry about that...I expended my horizones so much here!

Ne znayu kak tam u vas no mne tut eschyo myslit' prikhodit'sya, nikto gotovoe ne dayot... a poroy tak khochetsya, potomu chto vremeni na vsego ne khvataet. But I like it... Mne nado dumat' kak pisat' chto, kak snyat' chto, kak sdelat' chto by bylo luchshe, poroy prikhodit'sya zapisyvat' (on a tape I mean) chto to po neskolko raz, potomu chto s pervogo raza vidish' chto chgo to ne khvataet... vot i sidi i dumay chego zhe ne khvataet. Mozhet dazhe i vsego khvataet, no prosto khochesh' sdelat' eto luchshe; i opyat' zhe nado dumat' chto by eschyo takogo dobavit' chto by uluchshit'. Nado dumat' kak sovmestit' vsyu informatsiyu v opredelyonnoe vremya, chto nado ubrat' a chto ostavit'. Vobschem, myslit' tut naydetsya nad chem.

Pohozhe s obrazovaniem u vseh po-raznomu i vse pravy odnovremenno.
Tolko nado razobratsya o chem my konkretno govorim.
Chto prikladnaya nauka, ili tochnee sphery obrazovania, neposredstvenno svyazannye s chem-to prakticheskim (Mass Media, Journalism, Business, Environment), zdes luchshe prepodautsya, v etom net somnenia. Hotya by potomu, chto zdes dlya etogo est materialnaya baza ( i ne zabyvaite, chto za vse eti udobstva i udovolstvia obychnym studentam prihoditsya platit ogo-go kakie dengi, osobenno po nashim merkam. Eto my tut sluchaino na halyavu popali). Eta strana 2 smeny rezhima za vek vse zhe ne perezhivala...
K tomu zhe mnogoe iz vysheperechislennogo poyavilos ili razvilos imenno zdes. Poetomu-to nas suda i otpravili uchitsya imenno po etim majors.
Poprobui zhe kto-nibud iz nas vzyat kakie-nibud fundamentalnye nauki zdes,napr. istoriu, srazu okazhetsya chto nashe obrazovanie na neskolko golov vyshe mestnogo. S etim trudno sporit, po-moemu. Eto mozhet pokazatsya menee vazhnym na segodnyashniy moment dlya nas, no odnako perehodit k mestnoi sisteme obrazovania s ee polneishim bardakom, kotoryi ona ostavlyaet v golove, bylo by glupo. Ludyam daut kroshechnyi obiem znaniy (v shkole po krainei mere), puskaut ih s individual projects v eto more issledovannogo i ne daut nikakih putevoditelei. Kakuyu hochesh sistemu vydumyvai sebe! Vrode tvorchestvo, vrode zabavno, no odnako zhe eto toptanie na meste. Eto vse exciting konechno, no po-moemu eto exciting tolko dlya nas, ne privykshih k obiliu visual materials in class. Mnogie li iz mestnyh vseriez interesuyutsya tut chem-nibud? Knigi tut voobshe chitaut? Mozhet, na stupeni graduate...
Ne znau, komu povezlo s professuroi, mne dostavalis sploshnye instructors, s kotorymi govorit mozhno bylo malo o chem. Da, blizki k narodu, no potomu, chto malo chem ot nego otlichautsya vo mnogih sluchayah. K tomu zhe im za eto platyat ne kak u nas.
Vzyatki i kuplennye diplomy, konechno, ne delo, no voobshe-to uroven znaniy ot nas samih zavisit. Mozhno i ne pokupat otsenki. I Kakaya raznitsa, chto tam u drugih v diplome?
Net, konechno, v etoi sisteme mnogo polozhitelnyh momentov: assessment police, napravlennost na primenenie v zhizni. Eto stoit pozaimstvovat.
Trudno voobshe-to sravnivat sostoyanie obrazovaniya v 2 stranah, odna iz kotoryh zhila stabilno poslednie 150 -? let, v to vremya, kak v drugoi strane odna sistema zhizni nedavno razrushilas, a drugaya eshe tolkom ne nachala sushestvovat.
