Investment Associate NorthStar Corporate Finance, a Russian specialized investment banking boutique and a member of HSH Nordbank Group (www.hsh-nordbank.com), is seeking candidates to fill an Associate-level vacancy in its office in Moscow. Upon recruitment a successful candidate will be immediately involved as a project manager in execution and marketing M&A advisory, equity and debt fundraising mandates and preparation of client and valuation presentations. He/she will report to a project partner. Our ideal candidate should meet the following requirements: - Graduate level degree in business administration (Muskie MBA in finance is a plus) - 25-30 years old - At least 2-year of mandate execution experience in corporate financial advisory services (gained at a western or Russian investment bank or 'Big Four' company) - Internship at a reputable investment bank, securities firm or a 'Big Four' firm - Fluency in verbal and written English is a must - Excellent financial modeling and valuation skills (Excel spreadsheets) - Excellent presentation skills (PowerPoint) - Experience in web-page design (a plus but not necessary) - Be prepared to work independently with minimum supervision and take personal responsibility for the assigned project - Be ready to work long hours to meet deadlines - Be energetic and resourceful - Have analytical and inquisitive mind set and excellent problem-solving skills - Experience in statutory Russian accounting is a plus - Strong desire and ambition to pursue a career in corporate finance - Be able to enjoy work challenges This is an exciting opportunity to join an international team of professionals in a rapidly developing investment banking group with offices in Moscow, Hamburg, Helsinki, Copenhagen and Stockholm.
