There are many good reasons you should consider a Liberty education! Many international students apply for admission to Liberty because of its quality educational offerings. We are the largest Christian liberal arts university in the U.S, currently offering over 44 majors and concentrations. Accredited degrees range from an Associate of Arts to the Doctorate. Our two-year Liberty Bible Institute offers the Graduate of Theology certificate. Others appreciate the traditional Christian worldview promoted throughout the campus community. Professors are experts in their chosen fields. Convocation services, often featuring national and world leaders, are held three times a week. Students gather for worship on Sunday's and Wednesday's on campus and in local churches. Concerts by popular music artists are a regular feature each semester. The entire campus life program is oriented around building and strengthening students in their faith while preparing them for their chosen profession. International students also attend Liberty because they appreciate the conservative student code of conduct, known as the "Liberty Way." Alcohol, tobacco, and illegal drugs are all prohibited on campus, and crime is statistically very low compared to other colleges and universities. Single-sex dorms afford the students appropriate privacy while fostering proper relations between male and female students. Students quickly grow to appreciate the lifestyle in one of central Virginia's most beautiful and friendly cities, where crime is low and the pace of life seems "just right." Lynchburg is within easy driving distance of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Washington, D.C., and the entire East Coast. While many believe that Lynchburg has a "small town" feel, the city offers the services, products, and arts characteristic of others much larger in size. Regardless of what combination of the above features international students find attractive, Liberty offers something for the serious international student from any country, regardless of ethnic and cultural background. The Office of International Admissions welcomes applications from international students. https://www.liberty.edu/Admissions/index.cfm?PID=313 |
