Global Fellows New York University School of Law New York, NY, USA Deadline: March 31, 2004. DESCRIPTION: The principle aim of the Global Fellow Program at New York University School of Law is the production of scholarship and the advancement of research on the Global issues prioritized by the Program. We have a notable history of hosting distinguished U.S. and foreign scholars, judges, lawyers and government officials who wish to spend time with our program, advancing their scholarship and engaging fully in the intellectual life of the Law School. The overarching Global Fellow Program encompasses the following categories of fellows: Global Research Fellows: http://www.law.nyu.edu/programs/globallawschool/fellow/researchfellows.html Global Fellows from Practice and Government: http://www.law.nyu.edu/programs/globallawschool/fellow/practicegovt.html Pre-Doctoral Fellows: http://www.law.nyu.edu/programs/globallawschool/fellow/predoctoral.html Alongside our focus on scholarship, integral to all Global Fellowships is a commitment to integrate fully in the rich academic community which we at the Hauser Global Law School Program and more widely within NYU School of Law have to offer. As a whole, Fellows will find a wealth of choice of activities in which they may participate, including fora, lectures, colloquia, seminars and conferences amongst others. Detailed information regarding course offerings, colloquia and special events may be found on the Law School's Web site. Potential Fellows are encouraged to review this information to determine the ways in which they may be enriched by their time at NYU and the ways in which the Law School may be enriched by their presence. The primary aim of the Fellowship program is the enhancement of research and it is expected that the appointment as Global Fellow will result in a substantial piece of scholarship which will be considered for inclusion in the Global Law Working Paper Series.
