As a Ghanian who has lived most of her life in England and travelled alot, I feel sometimes that I have missed out on my own heritage. And I felt that maybe alot of students from African descent ( since this is the only one that I can speak fisrt hand of) must feel the same. And whislt talking to friends (as students do) we came upon this idea, What if we set one up for young people and then used the money to help the local people in the area. There could be cultural activities, sports, art, craft all in a beautiful idyllic country. But we need more ideas so if you think that you can help idea wise or know of someone who can let me know here or e-mail me directly. peace... and when it's up and running maybe you guys can pay us a visit and see what your inspirational ideas achieved. |
