The health insurance in Switzerland is very expensiv for students. I have found a recognized health insurance (sickness, accident & repatriation) who is very cheap. http://www.swisscare.ch For a amount of CHF 495.- for 6 months, the company provide the benefits of the basic health insurance law of Switzerland and including a worldwide cover in case of traveling. Age limitation : between 17 and 39 year old Also covered : PHD, doctorate, internship, researcher, (+ wifes and husbands) Annual deductible : CHF 300 I can advise this insurance for all US students who are going in Switzerland (and also all other international students in Switzerland).
