I will be applying for my visa interview very soon, however I feel there is a need of expert councelling before that. I need advice on the following: I come to understand that one should have 60% of the amount mentioned on the I20, as LIQUID cash(only bank deposits) For eg: if the I20 mentions 10000USD - i.e approx 5 lak indian rupees. 60% of this value i.e 3 lakhs. So according top consultants if you do not want to be rejected you should have this 3lakh rupees as a liquid cash in your bank balance. With the high costs mentiuoned on I-20 it is very difficult to support the documents required for F1 visas. Pls advice on how should a middle income student support these heavy expenses and prepare for a good visa interview. |
