I read on www.nvars.com that even if you have a valid visa if your renewal application is denied you cannot reenter, true? |

If your visa extension/renewal is rejected. Most of time, consulate officer will cross-out your old visa and toss the passport back to you so that you would not be able to return to USA.
F-1 visa extension is getting more difficult after 9-11 , don't do it unless is a must. |
