Hello Everyone.
I live in NJ and I am on my OPT right now. My Employer filed my H1 last week and I only have three weeks before my OPT expires. Just need to check if I can continue working and how will this effect my chances of getting the H1. Thank You Ed |

Once your OPT work permit expires, you're supposed to stop working until your H-1B is granted. Hopefully you'll get the H-1B before your OPT expires, but if not, you should stop work until it comes through.
Inconvenient, yes, but that's the scoop. |
