Hi to all
My girlfrind and I are in the country on different visas, I am still fine but she has gone out of status because her 'wonderful' uncle couldn't come up with a bank statement which she needed in order to enroll. So basically we are pretty depressed but I'm looking for all ways and methods that we could reinstate her status...are there any ways? We might get a sponsor for her right now ,is it possible that the school would overlook her expired I94, it has been 4 months already. If anyone has an idea please let me know... ...and also ,my i94 expiration date was written in ink, it is dated june 2003 which is just marvelous, but is there any way that I could verify that for definite. Tahnk you to whomever Kind Regards |

Since you are talking about expired I-94 you and
your girlfriend are not in F-1 status yet. What is your status exactly? If she overstayed B-2 I'm afraid there's nothing she can do, although there is a procedure for applying for change of status even if you are out of status. The problem is INS, not the school, by the way. |
