Can I get extention to F-1 visa if my status is about to get over, even though i have a visa for another 3 years. |

'Sounds like you're getting ready to apply for another program of study... If you happen to be going home, it wouldn't hurt to try applying for another F-1 visa, but you really don't need it, since your current one has three years left on it. They may tell you to come back in three years.
Even if it expires, it only gets you into the U.S. You can remain here after its expired, though it's inconvenient if you suddenly have to travel abroad. |
