Hi, I came to the US with a J-1 visa. I want to change my status to a F-1. My J-1 visa expires on July 20 2001. To I have still enough time to get a F1 visa before I have to leave????
Please help!! Thank you. |

If you're IAP-66 will expire on 7/20/01, then talk with your int'l. student advisor about your options. If your J-1 visa will expire on 7/20/01, then relax. You only need the visa to enter the U.S. Once here its only good for return trips. If your IAP-66 expiration date is sometime later, than that's the date you need to be concerned with. |
