In 1991, I came to the to Texas with a tourist visa. I am attending college with out a visa. I want to know if I can get a student visa? and if I'm able to get one, would it help me get a permanent visa in the future. |

yea it is possible. Most of the colleges that accept
this option of studying illegaly are the public/community ones. If i'm not mistaken though, the illegal resident has to live in that state(or country?) for more than 3 yrs. |

Of course you can attend a college without a visa! If you don't tell them that you're an alien, they don't ask. Additionally, if you know how to keep your mouth shut you'll have no problems whatsoever |
