HI I HAVE A NEPHEW AND A NIECE THEY ARE 13 AND 7 YEARS OLD. THEY CAME INTO U.S. WITH A TOURIST VISAS BUT WOULD LIKE TO ATTAIN SCHOOLS HERE. WHAT DO I NEED TO DO TO MAKE THEM LEGAL.
CAN THEY ATTAIN SCHOOLS WITH TOURIST VISAS? ONE OF THEM WILL BE ATTAINING 8TH GRADE AND THE OTHER ONE WILL BE ATTAINING 1ST GRADE THIS FALL. I REALLY NEED YOUR HELP!! THANK YOU |

Most of pubic schools will let them study even if they are illegal in USA. However, in order to keep their status legal in USA, your nephew and niece needs to change their status to that of F-1.
There are 2 options available at this time. 1. Attend a private school that issues I-20s. 2. Attend a pubic school and pay international student tuition rate and ask for a one- year I-20s. Once you receive the I-20s, you still need to find an experienced immigration attorney to help you change their status. Good luck! P.S.
