Hi, If a Company is ready to process my H1 ..can I stop my studies in between and start working...as in...change from F1 to H1. For instance I've been in US for the last 6 months on F1..now if a Company agrees to process my H1..can I start working? Also ..does my status as F1 ...effect the H1 processing negatively? |

As you probably know, an H-1B requires that you already have at least a bachelor's degree. Since the company is willing to proceed, I assume you're working on a master's or doctorate. I see no problem with your pursuing this change of status, myself. |
