I changed visa status B2 to F1 and I have SSN.
I'm going to start working during summer vacation. Actually my sponsor cannot support me tuition fee any more. I sumbit the application for working on campus, but they said they don't have enough budget to hire students.I got information on it with this website,but I want to know it in detail. How I get working permit?? |

I think you need to ask INS for working. Don't use your SSN to work illegaly, unless ot until you have premission from INS. otherwise u will be caught. thats what happened to my friend. he had SSN, was on F1 was working without INS premisson, was cought by INS and now awaiting a trail for deportation. now tell me this, how long it took you to get COS from B2 to F1. when u applied and in how many days they replied. what courses you are taking? |
