What's the impotrance of GRE Score? If someone gets 1630 as GRE Score, what's his probability of getting admissions in any Engineering college with/without financial aid?

i'm assuming that 1630 is the total score. i think schools only care about the verbal and math GRE scores so make sure you do well in those. if you get around 1100 you are pretty much sure to get in provided that your undergrad grades are good otherwise.
as far as financial aid goes, if you international, there is not much out there for us unless its a TA or RA position and even those are hard to come by. fellowships are also available but are VERY limited but you should still apply for them and apply EARLY since you are international!! but be sure to ask about the TA/RA positions. |
