is it possible to get a second OPT after completing a 2nd program. I've never heard of something like this b4 I read it on this board. True? |

Ihave heard that if you are in a new program (masters, or different major), you can get new OPT now. |

It is only possible if you stay out of the US for more than 5 consecutive months between your programs. Theoretically it is also possible to break your OPT into 2 half-year parts, but I haven't met anyone who's actually done it. |
