Hi
I am considering applying for financial hardship. My dad lost his job and even though my familly can still help me out it s getting hard on them so I dont see why not applyng and help them out by working. The problem is that each time i talked about it to my international student advisor she seemed kind of reluctant about it. Any risk in applying for financial hardship right to work? does INS can deny it? if so do you have to leave the us? would a translated letter from my dad with some proof of the financial help he gets from the government would be enough? thanks for your help j |

This is something I have heard in some other places. Whenever a student wants to apply for financial hardship help, the student advisor shows some kind if reluctance to do it. I am not sure why they do it. |
