I am in my country now. And have F1 issued on I-20 indicating August as a beginning of my study. What will happen if I enter USA this month with another I-20 stating January as a beginning of study. Shall I lose my student's status till January? Thanks. |

You should start school at the first available opportunity after entering the U.S. If you want to enter the U.S. soon, use the I-20 with the August start date. It's odd that a school would issue an I-20 this early for next January. Do yourself a favor and don't use it, unless you're not able to enter the U.S. until next fall sometime (after classes have started for the fall quarter or semester). |
