There are mainly two ways to get a green card. Best way is the finish your school, get a job here that will sponsor you. The company hiring you will give you H-1 visa. That H-1 visa will eventually help you get a green card in couple of years.
Second way is by marriage to a US citizen. Ofcourse, it has to be marriage in good faith. |

Getting a green card is not easy. Unless you plan on working marrying a Yank or first getting a H1B, the other methods to getting a GC may seem out of reach. You can still qualify if:
A. You are a big celebrity ( movie star or pop-star ) in your home country. B. You open a business in the US with a paid up capital of $1,000,000 or more. C. You are a researcher & holder of an advanced degree ( PhD or equivalent ) D. You are a record holder in the Guiness Book or Olympic medal winner for your home country. E. You were documented on TV for saving lives at the 9-11 incident in NY. |
