  using OPT for UNRELATED field
blurp
My OPT just started about a week ago. But up to this point, I still can't get a job in my field (electr. engr.). And I am in the need of money to support my living.
Will there be a problem if I use my EAD to eventually work in a field that is totally NOT related to my study (eg, flipping burgers)?
Also, will this get me into problem sometimes in the future for getting a working visa?
Is there anyone having the same experience?
Thank you ...

Hi, I think you can work even it's not the field that you srtudied in school during PT. But after a year, when PT expires, you have to get a work visa. Then the field does matter... So I think if you don't care about after PT, you can take any job.
