Yes, with an F1 you can attend high school, so long as the high school is endorsed by the INS and competent enough to handle international student affairs. Most state delegate this taks to a special unit that oversees all international student admissions in pre-college invironments.
On the other hand, you are not allowed to work unless you obtain a work permit from the INS. The most common form of application in that sense is based on financial hardship, and you can't do so until you have attended a full year worth of classes. Juno |
