hello.. i want to know if i am allowed to take a semester off and work in the US because i wont be able to afford tuition and is so close to completing my degree? |

NO, you cannot do that or you will lose your status. I think what you CAN do is either ask for permission to work outside campus, but you would have to be enrolled in classes or work on campus. Or aks to get your OPT and you can work for a year, but if you do that, you won't get that one year of work permit at the end of your degree since you already used it up now. Maybe you should also go speak to one of the person in your International Office. They might be able to help you. |
