Dear Students,

My name is Sergey Kulyagin and I am a member of the World Student Organizing
Committee for the E-ducation Without Borders Conference, which is held every two
years in Abu-Dhabi, United Arab Emirates.

Organized specifically for students by students, this prestigious three day
e-learning conference brings together upwards of 500 students from over 70 different
nations to discuss how information and communication technology is affecting
education now and define how it will shape the latter in the future. EWB provides
the opportunity for students in all academic fields to make their voices heard on
various issues concerning the applications of electronic technology in education.

The next conference is scheduled to take place in mid-February of 2005.

To be accepted you have to submit a paper/project proposal. The call for papers is
now open. The deadline for submissions is October, 31, 2004 (or mid November
depending on the semester start – please check the website for details).

Note that the conference covers all the expenses of the participants while in the
UAE and offers a number of full scholarships, which include traveling to the UAE.

Aside from the formal part, this is also and EXTREMELY FUN conference and you get to
share this fun with over 500 students from all over the world. For those who haven’t
been to the UAE, this is an experience not to be missed!

All information regarding travel, venue, planned activities, speakers and events,
themes of EWB2005, requirements, paper format, and other details can be found on the
Conference website at:

Sincerely,
Sergey Kulyagin
